Carlow Oscar Traynor Inter-League manager Paul Dowling says that qualification to the knockout stages of the competition is still in their own hands despite losing to the Dublin League on Tuesday night.
Speaking to KCLR, Paul says that home advantage in their next game is a major help…..
“We played Kilkenny in the first game and we beat them 5-0, but for some apparent reason they pulled out of the competition unfortunately so we lost the points, lost the goals, but the only good thing about it is that their were two teams coming out of the group out of 4, and now there is two out of three because Kilkenny have obviously gone out of it for some reason”
“But there is another team to come out of it, if we beat North East Counties at home we go through, so it’s in our own hands, we have no excuses, we have the home tie and we will give them a good rattle”
