Kilkenny City Harriers Athlete Peter Lynch says that training has gone a lot better than last year where he competed in the European Cross Country Championships.
Peter is part of the Irish squad for the event again this year which takes place in Chia in Italy and speaking to KCLR, Peter says that he would have gained a lot of experience from last year.
“Training has been going well. I have got to do a lot more training this year than I did last year because I am down in College now this year, so I don’t have the dreaded leaving cert and all the study to be doing so training has gone really well, a lot better than last year I think. I think I would have gained a lot of experience from last year. Last year didn’t really go as I had planned, but hopefully now this year, I can drive on the experience from last year”
