Its the last game before the Xmas break as Team Kilkenny take on Neptune of Cork.
Kilkenny are on an excellent run of late including their last home outing knocking – the until then unbeaten KCYMS from Kerry – out of the Presidents National Cup putting them into the semi final.
Kilkenny were outscored by Neptune earlier in the season despite breaking the 100 barrier as Neptune went 9 points better winning 110 – 101 in the Neptune stadium Cork.
This weekends game is a Saturday afternoon tip off in O’ Loughlin Gaels Sports Hall at 4pm. The club will be looking to end 2016 with a win.
American professional Matt Van Pelt will be available after receiving a nasty facial injury in that game but it would take more than a nose break and a few stitches to keep Matt sidelined.
