Its a big night of action in Dublin tonight as two Paulstown boxers take to the ring for National Semi Finals.
Darren O’Neill and Amanda Coughlan will be flying the local flag
Ollie O’Neill says that Amanda has got good preparation in sparring Claire Grace ahead of tonights National Elite Semi-Final.
Amanda is fighting defending Champion Moira McEglliot in tonights 57KG semi-final and speaking to KCLR, Ollie says she will get great experience.
“It will be her first major Elite Championship and she is up against Moira McEglliot who has boxed in the World Championships for Ireland and all and she is a reigning 57KG Champion so it’s going to be tough as well, but it’s all about experience I suppose. Claire Grace was down in our club sparring, she got a great reception from all the little girls in our club. She is a fantastic sportsperson and a real model for all Boxing”
