Owning Hill handler Joseph O’Brien began his weekend in the best possible fashion at Naas on Saturday when Outspoken won the opening Credo Pizza Supporting Kill GAA Maiden Hurdle under Mark Walsh.
The JP McManus-owned gelding was a short-priced favourite at odds of 8-15 and never looked like disappointing favourite backers.
JP McManus and O’Brien will be triple-handed in today’s Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle with Housesofparliament, Sword Fighter and Bhutan at Leopardstown.
BJ Geraghty is on board Housesofparliament (5/1) in the 2.30pm, Mark Walsh will ride Bhutan (16/1) with Sword Fighter (33/1) under Jody McGarvey.
