Brian Cody says that the potential of the Under-21 hurlers within the training panel is very promising.

“At the moment involved with us probably on the training panel we probably have upwards of 10 of our Under-21 panel in there with us at the moment, and all I can see is very very good players and I would say the potential there is very very good as well”
“I was over at St. Kierans and the CBS as well as all Kilkenny players obviously and again some excellent players there and I have seen many many club matches as well at underage level”
“I always would have a huge belief in the level of ability that is within the county and that opinion of mine has not wavered one bit”
