Carlow senior hurler and St. Mullins clubman Marty Kavanagh feels Colm Bonnar’s men deserve to be playing their hurling in Division 1 of the National Hurling League.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s Division 2A League Final against Antrim, Marty says they have the players within the county to be hurling amongst the best.
“Obviously our goal at the start of the year – one of the goals – was to get back to Division 1”, said Kavanagh on sport this week.
“We feel that we are good enough and we have the players in the county to do so. As players, we had to get together and show that we are good enough to be up there.”
“The way we are going, everything is going to plan so hopefully that we can get a win on Saturday, get the cup and go up to Division 1 where we feel we deserve to be.”
