Kildare Minor Hurling manager Martin Boran says they are expecting a different match altogether from their Leinster League Semi-Final victory against Carlow when the two counties clash in the Leinster Championship opener on Saturday.
Speaking to KCLR, Martin says the squad are enjoying their hurling at present having won the Leinster League Final last weekend.
“They are (the players) looking forward to the game, they are playing very positively which is great and they are enjoying it as well”, says Boran.
“It’s all about enjoyment, and if you are winning a few games, the enjoyment is a lot more.”
“We played them (Carlow) in the semi-final and we came through positively with a five point advantage. I know in the game there, some of the guys might of been playing football from the Carlow side, they were involved in the schools All-Ireland or whatever so we are expecting a different match altogether.”
Kildare v Carlow in the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Championship throws in at 3pm this Saturday in Newbridge with updates on air on Saturday Scoreline.
