Carlow camogie exited the division 3 league at the weekend at the hands of Armagh in the semi-finals.
Both sides were well matched and despite Carlow’s resilience, Armagh fought to the end coming out on top on a scoreline of 5-11 to 3-11.
Carlow had a strong showing in the league this year and can be confident heading into the intermediate championship.
They picked up wins against Waterford and Clare and drew with Limerick.
Times and dates are yet to be confirmed for the championship but the draws took place at the weekend.
Carlow is in Group 1 of the Intermediate Championship where they’ll have ties with Dublin, Cork, and Meath.
