It’s feared the All Ireland finals will be delayed until August.

With the country set to remain under level five coronavirus restrictions, it will have a serious impact on the GAA calendar.

The GAA suspended all activity – even elite games – for the latest countrywide lockdown.

The hurling and football deciders were set for July when the GAA released a split inter county and club calendar last month.

But with the National Leagues unlikely to start on time, competitions will be shunted to later in the year with the club championships going further back into the autumn/winter.

Carlow Gaa still have to run off their football championships that got stalled at the semi final stage last year after heavy restrictions were brought in.
