Eire Og are set to face Mount Leinster Rangers in the quarter-final of the Michael Lyng Motors Carlow Senior Football Championship this weekend.
The match takes place on Saturday evening at 7:15 PM and will be broadcast live on KCLR, with coverage sponsored by Dan Morrissey and Co.
Following their recent draw with Rathvilly, Eire Og’s Mark Furey spoke about the team’s preparations and their focus on the upcoming challenge.
“Their full focus now is on getting the bodies right and getting ready for Rangers because we know they’re going to bring another physical battle similar to what Rathvilly brought. Hopefully, we’ll come out on top and we’ll see how it goes, but that’s the next step on the ladder, and all roads lead to Rangers now,” Furey said.
Eire Og will be hoping to secure a victory and advance further in the championship, but they expect a tough test from Mount Leinster Rangers.
