Thyestes Day is the race that stops the county. It helps Gowran Park get their annual calendar off the ground, but it’s been, gone and will be back again.
The next big annual event takes place on Saturday 19 February and as announced at Thyestes Day this year, the big Connolly’s RED MILLS Day at the Kilkenny track is free for all.
With Connolly’s covering the entire gate, they’re hoping to see Gowran Park packed to the rafters once more for another massive day of racing.
As it stands, the event is currently sold out, but they’re going to release the final tranche of tickets – for free – on Tuesday 15 February at 9am.
They’re limited to four per person but you’ll be able to get yours from GowranPark.ie if you set your alarms right.
