Kilkenny Senior Hurling manager Brian Cody says attitude is so important at this time of the year.
Kilkenny began their National League with victory over Cork on Sunday.
He added that they didn’t take a risk on Richie Hogan on Sunday as he was not fully fit.
Speaking to KCLR Sport after the game he said “Really at this time of the year, you are looking at attitude and the way they approach the thing (games) and the fact they just go about it and just go and play but attitude is huge, because if that’s not right, everything else is wrong”.
He said “we’ve a bit of a trip down to Clare alright next week so we will see how that goes”.
Speaking of Richie Hogan he said “It’s just a bit of tightness in the back so we are not going take any chances with him so we will have to see how he is for next week”,
