Ava Coogan has won the KCLR & David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award for August.
Ava, from the Kilkenny Stars Basketball Club made history by being the first girl in her club to receive an International cap.
She was in the public vote and went up against boxers Nora Jackman and Michael McCarthy.
