There’s an action packed card at Kilkenny Greyhound Track tonight where feature race is the final of the Frightful Flash Kennels McCalmont Cup. The Michael O’Donovan trained “Lone Scolari” who runs from Trap 2 is the warm 4/5 favourite.
There is plenty of local interest too with the Murt Leahy trained “Berkey” running from Trap 6 and Roisin Walsh’s “Mysterious Ways” running from Trap 4.
These two look the main threat to the favourite but Lone Scolari gets the nod for the “Bookie Basher” syndicate in Kerry.
Racing also features semi finals of the Springhill Court Hotel A3 525.
Tonight’s meeting is also a fundraiser for Carlow Camogie and a large turnout is expected.
First race gets underway at 8pm and children are free admission.
