Former Kilkenny Senior Hurler John Power says that Brian Cody is looking to fellow selectors DJ Carey and Martin Comerford to provide inspiration from their days on the playing field.
Speaking ahead of today’s clash against Carlow, John says that every county goes out with all guns blazing in an attempt to be successful.
He said “Brian is kind of looking for a bit of of inspiration from their days on the field, maybe the lads can pick up on it and every county now are trying different aspects to motivate their players and forward play and back play and coaching the goalkeeper and the short puck-out so it’s a completely different game I suppose at the present time to know when I am played it”.
