Carlow Under-21 Football manager Peter McConnon says they are dealing with the squad members involvements in various competitions and codes.
Carlow host Galway in the Peter McNulty Under-21 Tournament on Saturday, and speaking to KCLR, Peter says they won’t put any squad member at the risk of burnout.
“We also have guys that are playing Rugby with Carlow Rugby Team and Padraig Brennan the manager is in contact with me, and we manage that end of it as well so at the end of the day you want guys playing as much sport as you can, but you need to have some benefit out of them. We are certainly not going to put them into a situation where they are burnt out or running the risk where they are going to be injured from too much game time”
