Carlow Inter-League Ladies Soccer manager Patrick Dowling says if they play the game rather than the occasion, they will be in a good place..
Speaking to KCLR ahead of (Saturday’s Inter-League Final against Combined Counties, Patrick says there is nothing to fear from the opposition having played them just a few weeks ago.
“Yeah, well I would be fair about it, on the day there is no one showed their true hand. I suppose I play a different system and put people outside of their comfort zone.
“I suppose there was square pegs in a round hole sort to speak, but they came through it well and they got a taste for it and there is nothing to fear from what we are playing against so as long as the girls play the game on the day rather the occasion, they will be fine.”
The game takes place at 7pm in Leah Victoria Park Tullamore.
