Carlow County Board Chairman Sean Campion says it was no surprise that Bagenalstown Gaels reached the County Senior Semi-Final.

Bagenalstown Gaels play defending Champions Eire Og in the second semi-final on Sunday and speaking to KCLR, Sean is predicting two intriguing Semi-Finals.

He said “The team that I kind of fancied to be in the shake-up all along and they have come through is Bagenalstown Gaels and that’s on Sunday against Eire Og so I wouldn’t like to have to go into the bookie office and put a bet on on anyone of them now at this stage but I think their will be two cracking matches”.
