Former Carlow Footballer Willie Quinlan says that life is going to get difficult for Division 4 Teams with the possibility of a new look All-Ireland B Championship been introduced.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Carlow’s National League opener at home to Antrim on Sunday, Willie says that it is difficult times for the county.
We’re a long way down the ladder, I mean it be great, the first thing we always talk about is getting out of division 4 and play a better standard of football, and we just don’t seem to be able to do it, you have to be winning your home games, it’s going to be very tough.
Next weekend were playing Antrim, there’s a lot of news stories coming up about the championship in 2018 and if the Division 4 teams lose the first round that you back in, back down a grade and play a B division and you know that’s not going to help anyone either so, it’s a difficult time for Carlow and the Division 4 teams at the moment.
