Carlow GAA is understood to be pursuing an appeal with the Disputes Resolution Authority to the suspensions they were handed out following the football league.
Manager Turlough O Brien was given a 20 week ban while team coach Stephen Poacher and midfielder Brendan Murphy got 12 weeks each arising from an incident in the aftermath of the defeat to Down on March 16th.
Carlow lost by a point to the northeron outfit and were later relegated back to Division 4.
