Carlow Senior Hurling goalkeeper Brian Treacy says they are not getting carried away despite drawing yesterday’s National League clash at home to Galway.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s game, Brian says there is a lot of work to be done.
He said “We would love to get a result and thankfully look we worked hard and put the head down for 70 minutes and it’s what we got”.
“At the start of the game, Galway were sitting back and we had to go short and that was working from time to time when we were able to do it, but they pushed up in the 2nd half, and it allowed the likes of John Michael Nolan, Seamus Murphy and Eddie Byrne to win the aerial battle”.
Brian said “We would need four to five points to stay up (in Division 1B) so it’s only one of five points, and their is still a lot of work to be done so look we won’t get carried but we will look forward for the rest of the League”.
