Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says his side have worked hard over the past two years to get to the level the’re currently at.
They head for Galway in the Leinster Championship opener and will face Kilkenny, Dublin and Wexford as well in the Round Robin.
Colm says they’re in with the big teams now and they need to stay there.
Speaking to KCLR Sport he said “Over the last couple of years they’ve left no stone un-turned trying to get their game to the level that’s needed to perform and they’ve met all the tasks that we’ve asked of them so far”.
“Now they’re at the top table with the top teams, teams that they’re used to watching on TV over the last few years and watch ingthem getting All Stars and now they’re going to be shoulder to shoulder with them”.
Colm said “You have to stand up and live or die with these players and that’s challenge ahead of us”.
