Four teams progressed to the semi-finals of the junior football ‘C’ championship after three games in the quarterfinals yesterday evening.
Ballon had one point to spare over St. Patricks, 1-6 to 0-8.
Clonmore had four to spare over Ballinabranna, 4-3 to 0-11.
Five goals from Tinryland helped them to a two point win over O’Hanrahans 5-5 to 3-9.
Leighlinbridge received a walk over from Fenagh.
