Carlow Ladies County Board Chairperson Kathleen Mullins says the county is gaining a positive profile as they go in search of a place in the All-Ireland Junior Final next Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR on last nights “The way it is” Kathleen says the success of the Mens Senior Team in the Championship made it easier for the Ladies Squad to fund-raise…
“It certainly on the back of the mens success, it made it easier for us to fundraise”
“We had to raise almost 10,000 euro to go to London and it made it easier for us because of the general feel good factor in Carlow and even at underage, our Camogie girls are doing quite well at underage so it’s all good for Carlow and it gives us a positive profile”
