Ed Burke has been ratified as Carlow Ladies football manager for 2022.
Carlow reached the All ireland Junior semi final after a convincing victory over Limerick, but were undone by Antrim in extra time. There was postive news though in the form of Carlow Ladies LGFA star Clíodhna Ní Shé who was the TG4 All Ireland Championship Top Scorer with a whopping 9-19 tally and was awarded her ZuCar Golden Boot prize.
Burke from Moyles Rovers in Tipperary has previous intercounty experience working with the Waterford men’s senior side and Tipperary Ladies team.The new manager is currently in process of putting together his management team and will arrange to meet with players shortly.
