Carlow man Stan Brennan says he will need to a big push in terms of fundraising as he prepares to participate in World Cup Footgolf event in Morocco in December.
Speaking to KCLR, Stan says that Footgolf has grown greatly in recent years.
“It has to be fair yeah especially this year now it has really kicked off again.
“I think the numbers from this year as opposed to last year have risen by about 30 or 40 lads so it is growing each year alright.
“Each individual will be trying to get their own sponsorship or do a bit of fundraising so I suppose if there is anyone out there locally that wants to give a bit of a dig out, it would be greatly appreciated,” he said.
