A powerful drive from Carlow man David Condell saw him finish runner up in the Mark 2 Challenge and 9th overall at the Carlow Stages Rally yesterday.
David was the top placed local competitor in the event and was unfortunate not to take top honours in the Mark 2 Challenge which went the way of Johnathan Pringle.
The overall winner of the event was Manus Kelly in a Subaru S12, with Roy White finishing 2nd in his Ford Fiesta, while Tommy Doyle made up the top 3 in another Subaru.
