Carlow man Eric Molloy would love to be playing in the League of Ireland when action resumes he says.
Molloy has returned to Ireland after spending the passed four years playing football professionally in both New Zealand and Poland and thinks with Stephen Kenny managing the national side, there may be added focus on our home league:
“With Stephen Kenny in charge, and he thinks very highly of the league and I think he’s looking at trying to encourage that, bring it on and become better”.
He said “I hope they look on developing that, it is a great league and i’d like to play in that, im not ruling it out, I would love to play in the League of Ireland again”.
