Carlow man Steve Lennon made serious inroads at the Dutch Darts Masters over the weekend.
After a third round win over James Richardson, Lennon beat Premier League player Mensur Suljovic 6-3 in the Quarter Finals and followed it up with a 7-5 win over former Premier League player Kim Huybrechts.
He then took on World Number 1 Michael Van Gerwen in the Final but just lost out 8-5 in the end.
Steve is still in his early twenties and is set for a big future in the PDC.
