Carlow Muaythai Gym pick up two wins out of four at the Dublin Junior Muaythai open

Chloe Black, Carlow Muaythai

Report by Seán Dillon

Carlow Muaythai gym had four junior fighters taking part in the Dublin junior Muaythai open in Tallaght at the weekend.

Chloe Black, Stanz Eustonov, Shane Harding and Eoin Duffy were those involved.

First up was Shane competing in the U10 category, he won his way to the final losing a close decision. Stanz was in excellent form getting to the final of the U12 category and winning in skillful fashion.

Chloe was next competing in the under 10 category, she fought brilliantly and got to the final winning it with strength and skill.

Eoin Duffy fought in the final of the U18 category, Eoin had a great fight and ended up on the wrong end of a split decision against his Dublin opponent. It was a great result for Eoin who’s only training a short time with the gym.

The club has about 15 juniors training and some very skillful young fighters coming up the ranks in this difficult and tough martial art.
