Former Waterford and Westmeath Senior Hurling Manager Michael Ryan says that Carlow need get off to a good start if they are to have any chance of upsetting the odds against Dublin on Sunday.
The sides clash in Netwatch Cullen Park in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.
Speaking to KCLR, Michael says he is realistic about Carlow’s prospects.
He said “They have had a magnificent two years under Colm Bonnar, he is a top class guy, top class manager, there is a lot of really good hurlers in Carlow and what they have and what a lot of teams don’t have, they have a couple of serious scoring forwards that they need to get off to a very good start in that game”>
“I would like to think they have a chance but unfortunately it’s only an outsaide chance, but while there is life there is hope”.
