Carlow Youths Inter-League assistant manager Bernard Mullen says there is great interest from the clubs around the county as they prepare for their first Inter-League game against Wexford on Saturday.

Speaking to KCLR, Bernard says there is a good mix all around…..

“Carlow is back this year and been quietly optimistic, we have got some really good young players coming through”

“We have Parkville United who are Under-18 Champions, they are back-boning the team, some excellent players but a good mix all round. 8 clubs represented on the squad so I mean there is great interest in it”

“Expectations are low key, we just don’t know. Wexford, you have always got to expect Wexford to come with a good team so we will take it on the day and see what happens”
