Carlow Rugby Club President Ian O Dwyer says the new Guinness Pro 14 format will bring a lot of new viewers to it.
It was announced yesterday that the competition will go from 12 to 14 teams with the introduction of two South African teams.
Ian says it will make the competition more exciting….
“Yeah absolutely and I suppose in relation to the actual competition itself (Pro 14) it had become a two tier system previously with the Italian teams who are finding it difficult to compete at certain levels”
“It will make it I’d say more competitive for all the teams”
