Carlow Oscar Traynor Joint manager Eddie Shaw says that he will give him more time to view the squad playing with their clubs this year.
Eddie is concentrating solely on the Oscar Traynor team this year and Speaking to KCLR, Eddie says the Youths will be also considered for selection.
“The hardest part is going to retain the Oscar Traynor, hat’s the hardest part, but like I mean this year I am not involved with New Oak this season so that will give me the opportunity to actually go and look at other players playing for other clubs that myself and Popa(Paul Dowling) probably didn’t actually see last year.
“I will be able to feed back to him if there is one or two players that should be brought into the squad, and then with the youths Oscar Traynor this year it#s going to be a great bonus.
“If they are not actually playing the same time as us, then Popa and myself can go and look at them and say this lad is worth a shot so hopefully we will give it a shot again this year,” he said.
