Carlow Town Hurling Club Committee Member Shem Brophy says the book about the history of 50 years of the Hurling Club will go down well with members especially of families who have been involved with the club over the years.
The book will be launched in the Hurling Club tonight (Tuesday) by Tipperary Senior Hurler Noel McGrath and speaking to KCLR, Shem says that having plenty of photos in the book is a lovely reference when looking back on the history of the club.
He said “It’s a basic history in writing, but mainly it’s a lot of photographs in proper and with names on them and that which is a lovely reference for people going back, people that are still in the club and people that have left the club, or people that have pushed on and for families maybe, there is people that are deceased now and families would love to have them that have family members photographs in them”.
