Carlow Under-16 Camogie manager Mick Lillis says they expected to play Armagh in an All-Ireland Final having played them in the first round of the competition.
The two counties play another in the upcoming All-Ireland Under-16 Roinn C Final, and speaking to KCLR, Mick says it should be a close encounter in the upcoming All-Ireland Final…..
“We played them in the first-round. It was 5-11 to 5-6 we won. We were unbeaten in the competition and by all accounts they are improving as well so it should be a good All-Ireland Final now”
“There was only 5 points between us the last time we played them about 8 or 10 weeks ago so it should be a good All-Ireland Final now”
“There will probably only be a puck of the ball between the two teams. We kind of felt that day coming off that if we perform and they stay performing the way they are, we probably would meet again in an All-Ireland Final”
