St. Patrick’s Aoife Kelly continues her journey with the Republic of Ireland Women’s Under 16s this month.
The Carlow youngster will join Tom Elmes’ squad in Beja this coming Monday and Wednesday with Ireland set to take on a talented Portugal team.
The friendlies provide a great test for an Irish squad seeking out elite opposition in the underage ranks.
Several players who have already featured at Under-17 level, including Grace Flanagan (Cork City), also make the squad.
