Longford Senior Football Manager Padraic Davis says that Carlow’s relegation back to Division is not a true reflection of their ability.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Qualifier, Padraic says they proved during the National League that they are serious team.
He said “We don’t underestimate Carlow what they will bring to the table. They have had a very good National League even though they got relegated, they put it up to literally everybody including ourselves.
“Carlow were within a point of the likes of Down, a draw or within a point of Westmeath, two or three points to Laois, so Carlow are a serious team and they are not Division four quality, they were very very unfortunate to go back to Division 4, they are a Division 3 Team and that’s the way we will approach it”.
