Former Carlow Senior Goalkeeper John Kearns says that Carlow’s victory away to Wicklow in the National League will give them great confidence ahead of next Saturday’s All-Ireland Football Qualifier.
Speaking to KCLR, John says been favourties for Saturday’s game will suit Carlow…..
“They have had the win earlier on in the year so they know they can beat them. They(Wicklow) are a fellow Division 4 Team”
“It will be a tricky game but it’s not a huge ask, its not like they are playing Dublin or Mayo so they should be going into that game very very confident”
“If you’re going to the bookies in the morning, you’re looking at Carlow probably being favourites. It’s nice going into the game being favourites, when you have the favourites tag, that means your fancied to win that game so they should take advantage of that tag and go on and hopefully win that game and get a good draw in the next round”
