New Carlow Golf Club Professional Damien McGrane says the Club is very ambitious and is looking forward to further progression.
Damien is taking over from Andrew Gilbert, and speaking exclusively to KCLR, Damien says his new role gives him a chance to upscale the business.
“I am going to be very busy. I am going to have to settle into the new job and shape the new job to suit myself and to suit my own ambitions.
“Andy has been there for a long time and he has done it his way so obviously with his retirement, it gives me the opportunity now to go into the same environment and obviously upscale the business and the coaching side of the business and the golf club are very progressive and I believe that between the two of us we make a good match and hopefully we will go from strength to strength,” he said.
