Carlow showed they're well able to mix it up ahead of the new season with a 26-12 win over neighbours Kilkenny on Saturday.

Daly, who missed the majority of last season with an ACL injury, starts at inside-centre, paired with Conor O’Brien in midfield.

Pre-season rugby is underway locally as Carlow opened their South East League account with a defeat to Wicklow on Sunday.
