CBS and St. Kieran’s College get set for Colleges hurling showdown as Knockbeg draw Naas

There’ll be no love lost after Christmas.

The draw has been made for the Top Oil Leinster Post Primary (colleges) hurling and football cup competitions with Kilkenny CBS and St. Kieran’s College providing the fixture of the round.

For the hurling side of things, round two games take place on Wednesday 10 January with the winners advancing straight to the semi-finals. For football, quarter-final games are set for Saturday 20 January with the semi-finals booked for Saturday 17 February.

Here’s how the draw looks.

Bro. Bosco Cup: Senior Football “A”

  1. Sc. Aodhain v Marist Athlone
  2. Colaiste Eoin v St. Peter’s Wexford
  3. Naas CBS v Knockbeg College
  4. Offaly Schools v Louth Schools

For the semi-finals, the winners of games one and four will face, with Knockbeg facing the winners of Colaiste Eoin and St. Peter’s should they overcome Naas.

  1. Dublin North v Winners of St. Brendan’s Birr v Borris VS
  2. Kilkenny CBS v St. Kieran’s College

Losers Section

  1. Castlecomer CS v Losers of St. Brendan’s Birr v Borris VS
  2. St. Peter’s Wexford v Good Counsel
