Celtic’s Boli Bolingoli has been issued with a fixed penalty notice by British police for breaching coronavirus regulations.
He failed to quarantine on his return from Spain and then played in the Scottish Premiership match at Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Celtic’s matches against St Mirren tonight and Aberdeen on Saturday have been postponed, with Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon warning the incident is a “yellow card” for football.
Neil Lennon held a news conference at Lennoxtown today.
(On Bolingoli) “We have been bitterly and sorely let down by the actions of one individual. He didn’t have a rationale for what he did. He’s blatantly disregarded my instructions and has put everything in jeopardy.” pic.twitter.com/BrtUSbbuYy
