They say goals win games and there were plenty of goals on Sunday as St. Martin’s saw off Dicksboro in the final of the Kilkenny minor A football championship.
An early start in Muckalee on Sunday morning was followed by an early lead from St. Martin’s who never really looked back.
Goals from Sean Hunt (2), Michael Keane, James O’Neill and Donal Kealy proved more than enough to get past Dicksboro and start off 2022 with some silverware for the club.
Final score St. Martin’s 5-08, DIcksboro 1-11.
