Carlow’s Chloe Black will be returning home with a silver medal from this year’s IFMA Youth World Championships.
The Carlow Muaythai Gym prospect (12) made it to Tuesday’s final with a win over Thailand’s Borrimas Kaenchan.
In the end, it was a unanimous decision victory (30-27) for her final opponent in USA’s Lei Saludares.
This is the last of a three-year stint with the competition being held in Bangkok, Thailand, before changing location for 2019.
