Ciara Mahon is looking to the challenge of playing World No. 1 Handballer Catriona Casey of Cork in Saturday’s All-Ireland 40 x 20 Senior Singles Semi-Final clash in Kingscourt Co. Cavan.
Speaking to KCLR, Ciara says she always wants to be challenged by the very best.
“Catriona Casey, is the World No.1 Female Handball player. She is a fantastic Athlete and Sportsperson. She has dominated the field of Ladies Handball in recent years so I am a bit of the underdog coming into this match, but I am looking forward to the challenge.
“She has always been an exciting player to play against and you always want to be challenged by the top people so I am looking forward to the game,” she said.
