Clare Senior Camogie manager Patricia O’Grady says they are looking forward to the challenge of travelling to the lions den of Nowlan Park for Saturday’s All-Ireland Camogie Championship clash.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of this Saturday’s game, Patricia says they are under no illusions of the challenge that awaits.

“All games are a must-win now and we look no further than Kilkenny next Saturday”, says O’Grady.

“We are going down into the Lions den so to speak. They are All-Ireland Champions, they are worthy champions, I think possibly they probably could have another medal under their belt had luck been on their side the year previous to when they won it. They are a very formidable outfit and we are under no illusion as to what we have to bring to the field next Saturday but the girls like, ah they are very much up for it and they are very much up for the challenge and listen a performance, you never know on the day.”

Kilkenny and Clare go head to head this Saturday at 5pm, followed by the meeting of Kilkenny and Limerick at 7pm. Tickets, priced €15, are available now.
