Carlow are out in action tomorrow as they travel to Kerry, with the winners receiving a spot in the Joe McDonagh final on December 13th.
The Barrowsiders are currently on three points after as two games, with Kerry sitting on four after four games and Antrim on five after three games. This means a win for Carlow will see them leap frog Kerry in the standings after Kerry lost to Antrim last weekend by seven points.
Speaking Manager Colm Bonnar is pleased that Carlow’s Destiny lies in their own hands;
“Overall, we have a lot of positives and things we can work on. We have played some smashing hurling on some occasions and where poor on other occasions. It’s trying to knit those together and be more consistent. It’s in our own hands, and that’s what I always wanted out of this, we play our two homes games, let’s get something from them and leave it in our own hands and that’s exactly where it is.”
The game throws in at 1.30pm in Austin Stack Park and KCLR will be there to provide live commentary with thanks to Ray Whelan Waste Management Ltd.
A minutes silence will be observed before all GAA Championship matches this weekend as part of the 100-year Commemoration of Bloody Sunday.
This is before the GAA stage a special remembrance ceremony Saturday Evening to honour the 14 victims killed at Croke Park by Crown Forces on November 21st, 1920.
