Kilkenny Senior Hurling Manager Brian Cody says their All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash which is almost certain to be against Cork, will be an even more difficult challenge than Sunday’s Leinster Final defeat to Wexford.
Speaking after Sunday’s Leinster Final defeat, Brian says it’s a very competitive championship.
He said “Well everyday you go out, you are trying to look for more obviously, and the players themselves will look for more for themselves, that’s the nature of sport, that’s the nature of the thing, and then obviously when you lose, you go out the next day and you look to try and get to another level to try get and that win”.
“It’s a very competitive Championship and the next day out is going to be at least as difficult and probably more difficult”.
